Claw CityCase study · Luxodd · Multi-store account

One pilot store.
13 stores of upside.

Claw City runs 13 arcade stores. I mapped the chain, built a pilot at their Tigard store around how their team actually works, and closed the relationship.

The situation

A chain buys differently from a single venue.

One bowling alley can say yes in a meeting. A 13-store chain needs proof first: proof that the cabinet earns, that staff can run it, and that it fits the prize and rewards system their customers already love.

So I did not pitch 13 stores. I pitched one, and built it to be copied.

What I did

Land one store. Build it to scale.

Five steps from first research to a closed relationship.

01

Map the chain

I researched the chain’s 13-store footprint before the first conversation.

02

Choose the pilot

I proposed a single pilot at the Tigard store, a small first step with a clear path to the rest of the chain.

03

Follow up in person

I handled the follow-up after the Portland Retro Gaming Expo and kept the conversation moving.

04

Fit their floor

I reworked our rewards and redemption flow around how their staff run prizes, so the cabinet works the way their stores already work.

05

Close it

The relationship closed and the pilot placement was agreed, with 12 more stores to grow into.

Closed

“I did not pitch 13 stores.
I pitched one, built to be copied.”

What it shows

What you get when you hire me.

01

I map accounts before I pitch

I know the account before the first call.

02

I make yes easy

A one-store pilot is an easy yes, and a clear path to the next twelve.

03

I fit the product to the customer

I changed our flow to suit their staff, not the other way round.
